Very finely-worked piece. Produced from longitudinal segment of longbone wall of large animal. May represent detached working end of more complete bone point. Oval or rounded rectangular in cross-section, tapering evenly from both sides throughout length to sharp point. Final 8mm adopts rounded cross-section and tapers in the round to point. This area also has fine surface polish which continues upwards in places. Point intact. Upper surface appears to be broken.
