Produced from longitudinal segment of longbone wall of large animal. Fairly roughly made. Retains curved cross-section throughout most of length. Fracture surfaces show no secondary working. Tapers fairly regularly throughout length to the pointed tip but the taper is greater for the last approximately 12mm and at this point the sides have been rounded and smoothed. Final approximately 9mm are worked in the round to an oval-sectioned point which tapers to a sharp tip which, while intact, may be slightly damaged. No manufacture marks visible.
