Produced from longitudinal segment of longbone wall. Deeply curved section throughout most of length, becoming shallower for final 10 - 15mm. No secondary working on fracture surfaces in upper area where sides also run parallel. For final ca. 20mm sides taper evenly to point and in this area the fracture surfaces become finely rounded into the underside. Lower working end is broken. Surface is generally very corroded but a slight sheen remains on the rounded fracture surfaces of the working end.
