Produced from longitudinal segment of longbone wall. Shallow curved section in upper area, fading out just below midline. Fracture surfaces left unworked in upper area where sides also run parallel. From approximate midline sides taper to point; in this area fracture surfaces show some rounding, becomes more definite for final 17mm on left and for final 12mm on right. This final part of working end has fine oval/square section and continues to taper on all faces to sharp point which is still intact.
