Produced from wide longitudinal segment of longbone wall of large animal. Upper area retains deeply curved section, diminishing in depth towards the working end. Fracture surfaces rounded and upper sides taper evenly towards working end. At 18mm above point sides converge more sharply for short distance and then resume with a gentler taper at which point the object takes on a stoutly rounded section, continuing to taper in the round to point. Point is intact but slightly damaged. Surface is quite corroded but horizontal file marks are visible around working end.
