Complete. Longitudinally curved binding with a 'C' shaped section terminating at one end in a circular clamp (D.11.5mm). This has an unperforated and slightly convex centre on the front and has a flat back. The piece ends abruptly in a smooth edge at the lower end. On the reverse side the upper edge expands slightly (c. 1mm) and the metal also thins out very slightly but there is no definite trace of any breakage.
