The north-east entrance to the middle enclosure. The entrance has been repaired on numerous occasions but protuding stones at ground level suggest that it is a secondary opening. The avenue wall (on the right behind the rod) has also been rebuilt; sections of it sit on pillars from the chevaux de frise.
