Well-worked piece. Produced from longitudinal segment of longbone wall. Sides taper evenly to point. Upper left corner of top is broken. Upper area retains curved section shape with fracture surfaces showing no secondary working. Some secondary working appears for final 22mm on left and for final 16mm on right where sides become slightly smoothed - may also be result of use. Final 10mm is worked in round to form a fine round sectioned working end which tapers to sharp point. Faint transverse file marks are visible around lower working end.
