Probably a gate type piece. Not necessarily separately made from mould but detached-in breakage after casting. Very similar to other gate pieces. Distinct 'inner core' and outer later pulled up to rim now damaged. This fragment has finished edges and shallow inner curvature and could possibly be the end of a mould for a large pointed object such as a sword or spear.
