Incomplete. Pin shank. Head missing. Upper end flattened and curved over. Tapering shank is rectangular in section with pointed tip now very worn and blunt. Heavy laminar corrosion and also some bronze disease. Dimensions and curved head suggest that the shank belongs to the ring-pin (1911:6) found at the fort in the nineteenth century (see Old Finds).
